HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Alexin's school had a halloween costume parade this morning. She is dressed as Padme from Star Wars. It was cute seeing all the kids dressed up.

The kids went to p.j. storytime last night at the library. They listened to spoooooky halloween stories and even got a lollipop.

So at most there have been 18 fires burning in Southern California. As of right now I know a couple of them are completely out. The Irvine/Santiago fire started about 2 miles fom us on Sunday evening. It was pretty scary, we weren't sure what was going to happen, if we were going to be evacuated or not, so I packed a bag just incase. Luckly for us the fire eventually moved west. Here are some pictures I took from our balcany shortly after it started.

This is the sky Wednesday around 5 o'clock p.m. It looks gloomy, but thats all the smoke that's in the air. It's horrible. Ash is piled up on the sides of the streets. The smell is so strong, even things inside our apartment are starting to smell like smoke.

Cameron had a friendship lunch at school last week. We went and ate pizza and cookies and met some new friends. And Cameron of course played with his many girlfriends.

The kids started gymnastics about 2 months ago, they love it and they are both doing so awesome. Sorry the pic quality isn't so great. I wasn't supposed to be taking pictures.

Rowan is doing awesome. He is 9 months. He's about 22 lbs. I'm not sure how tall he is, but I do know he is in 18 month clothes. He's a biiiig boy. He also got his first tooth about 2 weeks ago, he's not crawling yet, but he's getting really close.

Cameron is also doing really well in school. He is in preschool 2 days a week for 2 1/2 hours. He is learning alot of new songs and making new friends, he even has a girlfriend. He says his favorite thing to do at school is play outside.

So, I haven't posted in a while, but I'm hoping to get better :)

The kids have started school. Alexin is in first grade. She is really loving school. She is reading really well and is also starting addition and subtraction. She says her favorite thing to do at school is recess (of course)...lol She got a special award today for student of the month for outstanding effort. We are really proud of her, this is her second award, her first reward was for respect and she got that last year in kindergarden. She also got her first loose tooth about 2 weeks ago which is very exciting.
